Need Help Choosing a rifle scope

Hello,

I have 300 Winchester Mag. rifle that I use for hunting and I'm planning to change the scope!

I don't really know which one to choose as I can't really test them from where I live. I would be ordering it on Internet!

I can afford a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40mm. I also saw the Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn 3-9x40mm.

Could you please help me to choose the best one or also tell me if there is a better scope in the same price range.

I thank you all in advance and wish you all Happy Holidays! ;)

I see you are joining the forum from Mauritius? What can you hunt there?
The Nikon, a Redfield or Burris in the price range you note will be good scopes.
I have several Nikon Prostaffs on hard recoiling rifles and they work well. I have never had one go bad.
I own quite a few scopes and in my opinion for the price, the Nikon Prostaff is the best value/$$. For $25 or so more, the Bushnell Elite 3200 series is a tad better to my eye. Either one should hold up well to a .300's recoil.

The Prostaff would be the best choice of the ones you listed, like what was said above a Bushnell 3200 would also be a good choice.
I am a big fan of Leupold, both for quality and customer service / warranty. I say buy the best Leupold you can afford. It will last forever and they will fix it or replace it if something does go wrong. Quality is right up there with any of the others as well.
I would (and did) go for the Bushnell Elite 3200.
