Hi

I've been offered to buy an old handgun from a mate who's a bit paranoid about having it lying around. I'm not sure I want to go ahead and cash out for it unless it's actually worth something.

It is a short barrel 5-shot handgun that has "32 CAL S. & W. CTGE" engraved on the barrel.

I've tried looking around the web to find pictures matching it, and I've run across several that almost looked like it, but none have the exact same features.

Here are some pics of it.

Old top-break .32. Popular at one time for personal defense, about a hundred years ago. I can't tell you what brand but I'd probably not shoot it, myself.

Maybe worth something to a collector of old, cheap handguns.... ? I could be wrong.

The Logo on yhe grip is an old Harrington and Richardson logo. Not sure which model though. You might be able to get $100 out of it, if it's all there. As MikeG said you may not want to shoot it, many of these have just sat in sock drawers all there lives but you never know.

Regards
Gene
