I need Help w/ Feeding Problems w/ my 1893 Marlin 38-55.
I decided to play with my Marlin model 1893 in 38-55 cal. After loading a bunch of re-formed 30-30 cases with a 249g flat nose lead bullet, (winchester 38-55 M mold) I tried running a few through the rifle.
Several seemed to not feed properly. It was like the "lifter" was locked down. I wasn't able to predict when it would happen, it just did it every 3 or 4 out of 10.
Any one experience such problems, or have a suggestions to solve this problem?
