I just got a new CZ 457 Varmint. I also ordered a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12X44 scope.

I plan to use this rifle mostly on the range at sitting on a bench position for precision target shooting. At times also from prone.

I'm looking at the Warne 722M. I understand that if I wanted to just use rings I need to get a set that can be mounted on an 11 mm dovetail.

Question is, how high?

You'll find that the Warne 722M High will work the best. Your scope will clear and still allow a good cheek weld.

CZ is finally offering the American combo in the 457.
I just wish it came with threaded muzzles.
