Anyone see this yet? Looks potentially great to me - I've long wanted a Model 71, but haven't really cared to jump into a .348. I'll have to see what the quality and price are when it arrives, but it sure has my interest piqued:

Depending on the pricing they could possible sell a bunch of those. Looks good. I like the shotgun butts but it seems like Winchester and most clone makers like the Crescent Butt.

I'm curious why it says the magazine is plugged to only hold three rounds. I find that odd.

point of fact: it's a single shot action, there is no magazine.

Griz:You must be looking at the picture at the top of the page - which has no relation to the rifle description. You need to click on the preview button, and you'll see it's a copy of the Winchester 71, which does have a tubular magazine.

Since the magazine is a half magazine, and the .45-70 is a fairly large round, I wonder if the "3 shot plug" is a funny translation of "3 shot magazine capacity"?
