I created a post in the General Discussion section on Tuesday that was a link to a Monday article from Yahoo News about some antique firearms that were recovered from several museum heists.

Don't know if it was a glitch or something I did wrong? I posted nothing from the article or any photos...only the link to the Yahoo News article.

If I broke a rule, I would like to know what I did wrong so I won't do it again.

Thank you.

Joel

Did you write anything about the link, or just put a link in your post with no comments about it? Sometimes just dropping a link and adding nothing else about it can be a problem.
Yes. I gave a brief description about what was in the article.

Did you check the other forums? Might have gotten moved.

Not moved. Not part of discussions created by me either. Cheezywan said he replied to it, so it was there at least for a while.

Interesting article
That's not a description of the article, or seeking any discussion; that's re-linking.

If an established member does something obviously outside the lines that needs addressed, one of us will send them a note about it. If it's a simple judgment affair like this, then it's easier to just remove it and avoid what we see inevitably ensue.

If you're interested in a deeper discussion, send me a PM and I'll be glad to talk.

Cheers
