I'm considering buying a new revolver, but I'm having a hard time deciding.  I may use it for some CAS, but I'm not sure.  One model I have been looking at is the Rodeo from U.S. Fire Arms in .45 with a 5 1/2" barrel.

I'm sure some of you have or had one of these.  What are your opinions?

Are these medium sized frames? Any opinions on either the caliber, construction or manufacturer?

Thanks in advance.

The Rodeo is an exact (except for finish) replica of the Colt SAA.  Don't own one, but have heard nothing but good things about them from those who do.
If hunting is in the plan for said revolver the Rugers are mighty hard to beat.  About as fragile as an anvil, and will SAFELY digest far stouter loads than you can run through the old Colt design.
Good shooting

I agree that the Ruger is a great buy, but I do like the feel of the Colt SAA or clones...before you buy a USFA please take a look at the Bozeman Trail Arms Mfg website, don't have the address, but you should be able to search it out...he has some interesting things to say about them...hope this helps..
