[Savage Hunter]

Just wondering if anyone has picked up one of the new T/C Venture rifles? A buddy of mine bought one back in the fall in .30-06, and seems to enjoy it. Apparently it has a fairly smooth action. He's only shot it a few times so far, but so far he's impressed. Just looking for some opinions from others who have bought one, or shot one.

I put a 22-250 on lay-a-away.
Hoping it pans out.

TC Venture

I bought one a couple of months ago chambered in 270 Win. Shot about 8-10 factory loads thru it. Worked up some handloads for it. The best handload shot just over 1/2 inch at 100 yards. I stopped my search.

I really like the gun. Will work perfect for what I plan on using it for.
