Always room for another Okie - Welcome to the board. Main rule is to be nice to each other and try to join the various discussions.

Member Lumberjak (Norman) and several other Okies reside here, so you won't be lonesome. Used to live in Shawnee and Owasso myself, years ago.

Maybe I should start a new thread. I'm not sure how all this works. Can a slug be safley shot thru a full choke barrel? The reason I ask is a youth model NEF 410 jumped out at me in local pawn shop. I have 2 3/4 #4 buck by Bear, 3" 00 S&B. Just like testing linits. Shoots 7 1/2, #4 3in ok. But I was told that I could split the barrel with excessive pressure. Rats can get quite large around here.

Now I get it. Forums are a conversation. I'm truley sorry for not answering. 25+yrs as a field mechanic. No stranger to machinery, hard work, and an OOOP's aw s**t. Got 5 discs. retired early. Raised 2 kids, put them through college, no stranger to being broke. Fish and hunt for food. I've always beleived in kill it eat it. kdub, I'm a naturalized Okie.1974 one day in history the wind quit blowing. I landed here, went to work, met my wife of 32yrs and raised a family. Now with whats let of my wore out old body iget to spend time in this beautiful land where I live. BTW hte 410 is a squirel and wabbit gun, but some times the rats look more like feral hogs. O'Connersun Mid century is only halfway, right?
