I am glad your eye's can see the whole picture!!! I do live in the greatest country in the world bare none! However, in the last 30 friggin years, the politicans on capitol hill don't really seem to give a good **** about the rest of the USA, as they have refused to do SQUAT about stopping this country from getting more and more illegals into our country and then started packing our wonderful land with Muslims & their Kuran book.

Now this so called muslim religion that wants to weed out ALL of the western people for t he sake of their so called bible. Well, I guess those capital hill people just don't remember the story of the Trojan Horse. You mark my words, we are going to see more and more uprising of True American in years to come. I for one will never "cow down" to those of the muslim faith or their gods. Now up in ST. Louis, MISSOURI in a place called Bevo Mill area, this has been taken over by muslims period. You go into that area, it is like being in another country. They even fly the flag of their old country, not the Star Spangled Banner.

Hey, I just went out and purchased another short rifle (cut down AK-74) so my shotgun rider has plenty of help. One never knows when the enemy will turn up going down the highway of life in my FORD F-350..

One of the regulars on the Leverguns forum* uses a 348 with the 200 gr Hornady bullets for elk. He reports around 30 inches of penetration in elk on angled shots. Shouldn't be any problems.

I'd say the pointed FTX will help on range/distance, but the plastic- tipped bullets tend to be hollow points underneath. So they might over expand at short range, 75 yards.

Bullet weight is not as important as shot placement.

The Hornady 200 gr 348 bullet has a fairly decent BC as opposed to their 170 gr 30-30 bullet (which is perhaps closer to a wadcutter than a proper rifle bullet as regards BC). Check the numbers of their bullet with good loads. The leverevolution may not be all that much of an improvement. They certainly fudged the numbers when making their ads for the 30 cal bullets. Use real life info, not ad copy. Same sight in rage, same sight height, etc, not cherry picked and dissimilar info that makes the leverevolution look better than it really is.
