I was told by a dealer last weekend that Smith had discontinued the whole Night Guard series. I was drooling over the 44 Special. Bullet creeps and locks up the cylinder and Smith just could not overcome the issue. You guys heard anything?
They're still listed on the website. Bullet creep will happen with any revolver as its based on load and weight of the gun. I do know that there were firing pin problems as they used a shorter one to overcome the CA drop test. The shorter FPs give misfires and when sent back to Smith they install a longer one. Would love to have a 315 or 357 NG myself.
