I was reading about mad dog shriver and someone brought up that using non standard would be hard to get ammo or parts for. I always wondered. Is it allowable to now in days for soldiers to use weapons or equipment they buy themselves? I seen that some soldiers uses "tactical tomahawks" .

In over 20 years in the Infantry (active and National Guard) I have trained with the Army's of many countries and have never seen anyone using a tomahawk. I think their use ended shortly after the war of 1812.

I seen it on the military channel. The said the iraq or whatever will respect us more if we kill them with a blades weapon because its more traditional lol.google tactical tomahawk.
