Do a search on Browning Challenger Pistols, they were the ones that look like a Colt. Should be able to find mags, might check with Numrich. Don't know about a threaded barrel, believe the Challenger used a drop in type barrel arrangement.

Sorry, for some reason I thought (I read it that way) you meant a threaded barrel but yes, I understand the barrels you have. Magazines might be available, need to check what model Challenger you have. Bob's Gunshop in Royal Arkansas list them on the website.

The original Browning Challenger was made in Belgium. That model had rather large wooden grips, and a relatively steep grip angle, somewhat like the old German Lugers.
The Challenger 11 was made in Japan, had slimmer grips and a less steep grip angle, more similar to a 1911's grip angle.
Both had round barrels, and the barrel was retained by one screw, under the barrel at the front of the pistol grip. The Challenger was done in a high gloss blue, the Challenger 11 was more of a matte finish.
If you have a first model Challenger (that's my guess), it will handle HV 22 ammo. Magazines shouldn't be too hard to find, either from Browning or Numrich.
