Have a P-17 with a Stith Master mount. Done back in the 50s. Need to know more about how to adjust this mount. The action was milled/ground for it making it difficult to adapt modern scope mounts. Any help appreciated.

P17 Enfield ? Dat wat U meen 2 say?

Why does it need to be adjusted? What d o you need to accomplish?

I don't know about your mount, but it can be shimmed w/AL foil. A little goes a long ways.

If you know the mount, you'd understand. It's windage and elevation adjustable and the parts wiggle. Not about shimming rings at all. 50 year old mount so not much available on it I can find. Need a way to tighten up the screw cones on the hex axle...
