Am considering purchasing and I'm looking for comments from those with LOTS of rounds through their sidearm.

Good?
Bad?
Indifferent?

Thanks for your input!

I have an older Cougar with a great many rounds through it. While the gun is a bit boxie and heavier than others, it has never rejected a cartridge or failed to extract. I carry only .45acp and only 1911's; however, now that there's a good .45acp Cougar, I'm looking closely at it!

I have a Beretta cougar in .40 . Great gun. My brother liked mine so much he bought his own Stoeger cougar in .40. The Stoeger doesn't look the quality of the Beretta but shoots the same...and was a lot cheaper to buy even though it was purchased 11 years after the Beretta.
