I just bought a used Pedersoli 45-70 falling block. No visual wear to it. My question is that when I open the action the block falls below (past) the loading ramp. The rim of the shell case now can fall and stops against the breech until I move the lever to the rear a little and raise the block to correct height . Loading has the same issues. Shouldnt the block fall level with loading ramp? Is something broken?
