I've been wanting one of these for a while now, and couldn't pass this one up on Gunbroker. It came with 5 boxes of bullets, 100 brass cases and another 100 nickel plated cases, a set of 45 Colt RCBS carbide dies, a 45 colt case trimmer and a Bianchi shoulder holster. I got it all for $785 shipped, and she's only had 24 rounds run through the 45 Colt barrel, none through the 45 ACP.

Here it is, a Ruger Bisley stainless convertible:

Thanks, JPaulF!

I have put a lot of hours of research in to lead me to this particular revolver. I was reading reviews in Afghanistan about 8 months ago. I think this one will serve me well. I hope you find one in perfect shape as well. Semper Fi!

Great find and nice price for the package.
Id have jumped on it too but what I really want is a BH Hunter in .45 Colt. So I keep looking but man there are so many other nice choices out there.

I was considering a hunter myself, but they seem a bit harder to find than the bisley convertibles. I hope you find one in good shape!

I've already run some stout loads in 45 colt through my Bisley, with both Speer 260 gr. JHP's and Sierra 300 gr. JSP's. I've also run some light loads through it using trail boss and my own cast 228 gr. LRN bullets. I put about 20 230 gr. FMJ handloads through the 45 ACP cylinder too. It shoots fine with everything I've fed it so far.

I'm taking it out again today to run another 40 or so various 45 colt loads through it. It's a joy to shoot!

BlkHawk73 - Nice collection! Is that what I've got myself into? !!!

Well, no shooting today. It's been snowing non-stop since I woke up, so instead I took a trip into town to my favorite shooter's supply shop and grabbed a box of 200 gr. LSWC bullets I'm going to load up with some 700 X. If I can't shoot, might as well load! ;-)

Thanx! It could be a forthcoming addiction. Before these, I never considered stainless and had never owned a Bisley. Well...all these stainless and 10 or 12 Bisleys later...

Mine's packed right now but any time loading is good. It allows more time shooting.
