suggestions on which powders i'll be needing to look at for loads for my savage striker in 7-08, 14" barrel 9.5:1 twist. i'll be loading some light 100 gr & some 140's so i'll be needing more than one i'm sure. also what do you guys do that load rifle rounds for pistol aplications to keep from useing the pistol round in a rifle and getting into trouble? just keep them sorted or do you label the indivdual brass too? (sharpy)

Nosler's 6th shows H335 as the most accurate at 36-40 grains for a 140 grain bullet, with RL19 giving top velocity with 45-49 grains of powder. H335 is quite a bit faster than RL 19 yet only gives up ~140 FPS to RL19.

i've had good luck with AA4350, VV N150, & 4064... i'm going to settle on the 4064 as that is a very good powder in the 7/08 pistol according to sierra. it is their accuracy or hunting load for most of the bullet weights in the 15" bbl.
the best way to keep your brass seperate is to go with a different headstamp or use plated brass for one of them.
