My son's girlfriend, a recent college honor graduate, was feeling poorly and after a checkup was diagnosed with cancer. Hodgkin's,, they think, though diagnosis is still in progress. Her dad is a doctor and was able to expedite diagnosis and treatment.... but she can use some prayers too.....

Thanks, guys. Report -- tests indicate this cancer is caught early and should be very treatable. That's good news.

But I think prayer is still the most indicated treatment.....

Thanks to everyone. At the moment she is losing her hair from treatments, but her spirits are generally good.

Prayers going out, lost a brother-in-law last year to it,and my baby sister has been fighting it for 5years. She needs to keep up the spirits as that goes a long way when fighting that illness...............

purpledragon -- belated thanks for the tip on cherry extract for gout. I have been using it whenever I get a twinge in the toes, and haven't had a severe attack in a long time. Thanks!

Just wanted to thank you all, and tell you that Jessie's treatment seems to be progressing very well. She sometimes feels the effects of chemo, but the doctors tell her that her progress is good, and she feels well enough to continue in school and do most of the "normal life things".

My thanks to all for their prayers. Jessie has completed her chemotherapy and the doctors have found her cancer free. She will have regular checkups going forward, but she is healthy and moving on with her life.
