Anyone have any insight on the pressure limits of a 77/44 vs an 1894 marlin 44 mag? Most data is for the marlin or other lever guns.

A bolt rifle is normally stronger than leverguns. Any data you have for levers should be more than safe in the 77/44.

If you feel the action will not take the rifle loadings, you should contact Ruger and ask their tech's if you should be using pistol data or rifle data. That way, you're not relying on anyone's opinion other than the manufacture.

Ruger has always been helpful when I've contacted them in the past. Google them for their web site.

The Ruger 77/44 action is strong enough to withstand any safe load for the 44RM brass, itself. If you are following a book recipe for 44 Magnum, you've got a safe load in your Ruger bolt gun.
