Well I probably got 200-250 through it I don't keep a count just shoot!!:D Not a problem what so ever-not all were full bore loads -I shoot for accuracy! My 300gr loads are running 1995 fps -240's aroung 2315 fps. If anything the action is getting smoother still as tight as the day I bought it.
I've got the same problem -to find a sling that doesn't have to be drilled. :confused: Though the Rossi is and allful nice carry gun!!

Yep that's why I bought mine I know what the ballistic were for the Pistol and knew in a 20" tube it would be an asome round. Man you want to piss a big bore fan off-tell him that your little Rossi your carrying will do just about everything his 405 Win or 45-70 can do with half the powder charge!!!!:D
