Not sure what difference that would make. They are folks trying to make a living during hard times, whether union or non-union.

After the election of mr obama I decided I wouldn't buy any more union made products. I'm free to spend my monies where I want. I just wish I knew about the ruger firearms.

I believe Ruger is non-Union and Arizona is a right to work state. I will buy both union and non-union but have no sympathy for unions like UAW that make their "masters" unable to compete. The real problem is the government worker unions that control states like kalifornia where I live - and I do mean control. If the price and quality are good I will buy Made in USA union or non-union firearms.

Thank's I'll verify what you've said and seriously consider a new scout rifle they've come out with. For what it's worth I don't buy chinese either. I just can't get past the idea both are bad for what's left of this country.
