[45-70 nut]

looking to find the pressure of a .45 acp load.
230 gr LRN .451
4.6 bullseye
cci LP
starline brass
OAL 1.250
This load has recoil simmilar to factory fmj, I just want to make sure Im not over pressure

QL suggests that is a safe load, generating just over 15,000psi, and just over 800fps, from a 5" barrel. Based on this model (keep in mind QL is not great with straight-walled pistol cases) it suggests a max charge of 5.3 grains.

If you like the power and accuracy from the load you're currently using, I wouldn't mess with it.
