Anyone have QuickLoad that could run a N205 load of 52 grain in 308 Win for a 178 gr. Hornady Match bullet.

I would appreciate it.

Doesn't matter now. Can't fit 52 gr. N205 into a 308 Win. Case. I've done some other research and used my Hornady II and Speer #6 and figured it out.

If a Mod sees this, they can close this thread.

Thanks and all the best.

N205 is obsolete and there is no QuickLOAD powder file for it. I recall Norma claimed they had scrapped some lots of N205 because of production problems with the formulation. It was replaced by Norma MRP, and Norma said 205 data was safe to use with MRP. That does not, of course, mean they are identical now, though. QuickLOAD, for example, has two MRP files called MRP and MRP2. This suggests that while the original MRP might have been close to 205, the current production may have shifted a bit. Indeed, the two produce significantly different pressures. As you found for 205, neither fits in the case, either.
