Hey Guys,

I'm posting for a guy who has a Ruger Number One in .460 Weatherby.  He's trying to develope reduced power loads using cast bullets for the simple pleasure of doing more shooting.  Any suggestions for loads where the powder would pretty much fill the case?  He's looking to use 500 grain bullets

Filling the case with the following powders should get nice reduced velocity loads for his 500g cast pills, but a problem with some unburned powder in the bore could be annoying.

Although these would do fine, I think he would be better served, in the huge capacity of the .460 to use faster powders and a filler wad to keep the powder oriented against the primer.

God Bless,

I think ground up charcoal briquettes would be about right!  <!--emo&;)--><img src="" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->             IDShooter
