As so well pointed out, bullet fit is everything when it comes to prevention of leading. Also, make sure that all traces of jacket fouling are out of the barrel before shooting cast... regardless of who's manufacture, as copper jacket fouling will greatly promote leading in a barrel that otherwise would not lead foul at all!
Most folks with the .454 S. Redhawks report pushing properly fitted gas-checked Beartooth's to absolute max with little or no reports of any kind of leading!
