Hi i want to reload light loads for target practice for my glock .40. what do you guys think would be the best load? I have a few ideas but i am new to this.

If you have not gotten one already, get one of those Redding case sizing dies that completely remove the pregnant belly from the case. It is a push through sizer type die.
As said, stay away from cast but plated do fine and are cheaper than jacketed usually. At least plated do not cause a problem with HKs which are in the same boat as Glocks regarding the use of cast bullets with their polygonal bores.
As to a specific load I cannot comment since I do not shoot enough 40 to make it worth my time reloading.

Yup - lead bullets and factory original Glock 40 S&W barrels = bad things! :eek:
