My 44 WCF loads have not exceeded 22.5/2400. I believe that 26+ grs would be a compressed load,possibly raising pressure to a dangerous level.Although the original '92 Winchester is a very strong action, one would have to consider age and wear as determining factors when loading to higher velocities.
