Rem 870 12ga Buttstock replace a Rem 11-87 12ga?

Thinking about putting a wood stock on my Rem 11-87 SPS 12Ga;
Will a 12ga Rem 870 Butt-stock replace a Rem 11-87 12ga?
If so is the angle very different?
Saw some buttstocks advertised as fitting 870's as well as 1100 and 11-87's.
