The Remington Mod. 241 Speedmaster I recently bought typically feeds the first seven rounds of a 10 shot string flawlessly, but won't feed the last three. I thought that a good cleaning would help--the gun was so dirty I doubt that it was EVER cleaned--but no dice. It still won't feed those last three rounds. Weak magazine spring? I thought I'd better run this though the forum before buying any parts. Thanks, Pete

Thats where I would start, I have a Rem. 572 pump, and it was doing the same thing, i would start there and move on maybe to the elevator....I'm not terribly familiar with the 241's....God Bless

Sounds like a weak spring. Couldn't hurt anything to replace it.
