Does anyone have the remington model 7 predator, I need to know what mount you used for the scope. I have ordered. 2 from midway warne, and leupold. Neither works. Front mount fits rear is half a screw width off. Remington I guess doesn't care. The tech at midaway told me that both mounts should have fit. Anyways I 'm going to return it. I'll go purchase a real gun. I'm. Hearing remington has already dicontinued this complete line. This is the second remington I have bought recently that I had to return. I guess they are going to crap like the rest of the country.

Yeah their both 2 piece mounts. One is a warne the othe is leupold. It doesn't matter how you do it.Its machined to close for any tolerance. Remington want even reply back on emails, and you sure can't talk to nobody. Businesses are a joke now days.online they want you to read all the FAQ. Anything to stall you a little longer. Who wants to read a bunch of answers that has nothing to do with your problem. I'm not going to let someone drill it, shouldn't have to.Remington products have went down hill this will be the second firearm I have had to return.

Warne makes what called a new model 7 2-piece base and I'm sure thats the model you have.

Original Model Sevens had only a single drilled and tapped hole for a scope mount on this bridge, but the Predator has two and accepted a one-piece alloy base securely. The bolt has the usual twin opposing locking lugs of generous size, with the bolt’s body retaining a blued finish.

Always been confusing on the two model 7 made.
