Picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble (I was surprised). This is a pretty good source for a lot of interesting info on interior, exterior, and terminal ballistics and at $24.95 not too bad a dent on the wallet. I found some explanations for behavior I noticed years ago while benchrest shooting and for things I've seen more recently with handguns. It includes some equations (yeah, I know, the real reason we invaded Iraq was that the Arabs invented algebra and we'll never forgive them that) but they are easy ones. If the author sees this and decides to update the book someday, please (1) edit a little more fiercely to prune out some of the verbiage, (2) think about consolidating a little to avoid jumping around, (3) stop apologizing because Mother Nature didn't make the world gradeschool easy. All in all I'm glad I bought it and find it a welcome addition to my bookshelf.
