My favorite rifle of all that I have owned is my Rossi .357 with a 16" barrel.  No problems with quite a few rounds put through the barrel.  Last year was my first year hunting with the rifle.  It performed clean-up on a wounded 6 pointer and harvested a 10 pointer for me.  Both shots under 50 yards and taken with 180 grain XTP's.
