Earlier this week, I posted that I had picked up a 454 Casull in Taurus Raging Bull. Well, I took it to a gunshop and traded it for the 1998 RMEF Banquet gun. It is a Ruger #1 in 45-70. It is unfired in the RMEF hard case, with original paperwork! This gun is incredible! I got pretty lucky to find it!

I recently bought a Ruger #1 in 45-70. It's my third Ruger #1, but first in 45-70. I used to think my #1A in 7x57 was as nice a rifle as you could find in a Ruger #1. I have since changed my mind. That #1 45-70 feels very good in hand and shoots very well too.
