Savage 110FP 25-06

I've been looking for a 25-06 for my son for Christmas. Anyone know of a dealer or individual who might have a Savage 110FP in 25-06 for sale? Also for those who are shooting or have shot various 25-06's any recommendations besides the Savage?( My son is 12 and the rifle will be used primarily for Deer, Antelope, and Coyote's.)

I have a friend that has one of the Savages and it will put 5 shots in a group the size of your thumbnail. It is a very good rifle and I think is a good choice.

I love my remington 700 but for the money you cant beat a savage. i plan on getting one in 300 win mag soon. perfect caliber choice by the way

The 3 rifles in 25-06 that graced my vaults at one time or another were 2 Ruger #1's and a Browning A-Bolt. All were excellent shooters, especially with the heavier bullets.

I have the Savage 10FP with HS Precision stock chambered in 308. It is a good shooter. It consistently prints groups in the .4 to .6 range. I think you'll be very satisfied with it.
