The Savage replacement barrels are getting a bit more expensive. Shilen has gone up from $305 (blued) to $345. Midway has the A&B for $135. Up from ~$120 but has discontinued the 257 Roberts I was planning for Christmas gift from wife. Guess I will go for a 250 Savage instead. Oh well everything goes up in price if demand is there.

Good place too keep track is Savage Shooters Forum in there used Savage parts section.. Bought new A&B barrel in 22-250 that someone bought for a project and changed there mind. Barrel and shipping was one Ben Franklin..
