OK...what is the trick to reassembling the bolt on a Savage 110? My instructions way to screw it together with the cocking piece in cocked position but I cannot figure out how to do it since I cannot get even one thread started. I tried to start it then cock the bolt but it is harder than woodpecker lips to do....so.....how do you guys do it?

Provided you have things lined-up, you have to have it un-cocked I believe. Then cock by hand, in order to get it in the reciever.

You have to push the bolt assembly screw a little to get her going, and turn at the same time. Its not too bad after the first time
