I looked at the savage model 350 defense shotgun. It is a copy of the Ithaca 37 with sights and a short barrel. A few years ago I bought a identical gun at Dunhams made in china at the Chon Dong machine works model yl12-1j4. The Savage is also made in china I wonder if it is the same gun they look exactly the same. I haven't even shot the gun but it looks very well made. I did cycle some shells through it to see if it loaded and ejected ok and it did. Anyone know if it is the same gun?

It is a very crude copy of an Ithaca 37.
To add to this, it's made with, what I like to call "budget metals" They aren't completely cheap metals, but they aren't the greatest either. A friend has one and asked me to clean it for him, and to show him how to field strip and clean. It comes apart exactly like an Ithaca, you'll notice thought that most of the internal parts are mostly cast parts. Other than that they are a decent gun to have, I wouldn't throw it away....
