I have an old eye injury. I have noticed that I am able to aquire a moving target a little quicker with a floating dot like the Lee dot. I have two older Weaver's with Lee Dots. I have found the Duplex on the Burris and some other good scopes a little thick for my taste. These thick duplex reticles are nice for stand shooting just before dawn and just at dusk, but they get in my way the rest of the time.
You can see the Lee info at WWW.scopedot.com

I am thinking of having a Lee Dot installed in an old Weaver V4. The Dot will be about 9 min at 3x and about 4 min at 4x. Anyone have any experiance with a dot this big?
