SCOTUS refuses to hear an appeal filed by San Francisco gun owners seeking to overturn that city's requirement that all handguns kept at home and not carried on the owner’s person be "stored in a locked container or disabled with a trigger lock."

Sorry San Francisco. :(
Personal opinion follows:
San Francisco Resident voters seem to be more Interested in providing a 'Target Rich Environment' to Criminals. But their Ideas are Hurting Others more than themselves.
End Opinion statement.

This is clearly designed to intimidate legal gun owners- if a shooting occurs, even in personal defense of the home, then they will seek to prosecute the homeowner.

The Communists in China are amateurs compared to those in Kalifornia!

Only in California. What good is a handgun locked-up and stored in ones home. Do they think intruders are going to follow suit or allow the homeowner to unlock his or her handgun to prevent a crime?

Check the OTHER Applicable Gun Laws in California and San Francisco. Carry is Restricted STRONGLY,
Permits are "May Issue" STILL.
Of Course if you are a LEO, A Retired LEO, a Judge, or A 'Friend" of the Issuing Office it is possible to get a permit to Carry in San Francisco Legally. "Those of Criminal Intent" seem to be ignored by the Lawmakers as more Laws are called for whenever a CRIMINAL uses a Firearm to Kill People.

I live in California and patiently await Legal Possibility of Carrying in Public in accordance with the 2nd Amendment.

The laws of gravity and friction keeps a gun in your pocket. If you need it, you're a hero. If you don't need it, nobody ever knows.
