This updated, 2nd Edition book by Tony Russ is THE "how-to" book on sheep hunting in Alaska. Tony goes through physical and mental preparations, equipment (guns, scopes, spotting scopes, clothes, food, tents, packs, sleeping bags, stoves, etc...), areas, what to look for, dangers, etc...
Sheep hunting is a sickness. It gets in your blood and is all consuming throughout the year. Tony relates some of these obsessions with the reader, but if you are looking for what you need to expect on a sheep hunt here in Alaska, this is the book to read.
