My father has bad shoulders and can't carry the full weight of his shotgun while hunting upland game. I've heard of some sort of sling which you can set the butt of your shotgun in while walking to support most of the weight and when you need to shoot you simply raise the gun to your shoulder and shoot. I don't know if it is belt mounted or over the shoulder.

Does anyone know what this is called or where to find it? I've spent several hours searching and haven't had any luck.

Thanks.

I have a pretty good idea what you're talking about. I think the butt fit a pocket that was on the hip and attached to the belt. I think I saw these at a gun show or sportsman's expo many years ago.

I don't know of a source, and I spent some online looking and I can't even come close. It seems like someone had "invented" this and was marketing direct. Not, a big name maker.

I have one. Made from nylon webbing. I am trying to recall where I bought it. I'll get back about this when I do.
