I've been eyeballing the hammer/trigger replacement with the roller bearing offered by Cylinder and Slide Shop.
Since I shoot the revolvers by pulling the trigger straight on through, by double action rather then single action, the roller bearing seems to make sense. It's my understanding that this set up is strictly double action only.
Has any one used this hammer/trigger combination? Does this setup require using one of the new Wolfe main springs?
Any info sure would help.

arkypete,
Since no one else has replied to your post, I'll give it a shot...... <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

I don't think another spring would be necessary for function, but if you're spending that kind of cash for the trigger/hammer combo, it might be that you'd want to try a different spring weight to get the best feel. I'd try the factory spring first, and see where you stand, you may have just what you're looking for without installing another spring. The spring could be easily changed at a later date, if you're not satisfied with the action, and/or if you have problems with consistent ignition.

There's 2 cents worth, hope it helps. <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

ArkyPete,

This might seem too simple a solution, but my answer would be to call Bill Loughridge and ask him what he recommends.  Bill is the owner of Cylinder & Slide and a very gracious gentleman.  He is one of the relatively few who will take time to talk to a customer on the phone.
