I have a 1915 series Stevens Favorite Action which has a Coil Spring assembly powering the hammer. I would like information on the safe and proper methods used to remove/disassemble and then install the coil spring assembly in the action.

Here is a Photo of New Manufacture Stevens 1915 "Favorite" .22RF Breech Blocks in process of conversion to Center fire.

Note Also the Weld Beads added to the Lower Rear of the Breech Block to allow fitting so it wil 'wedge' agaisnt the Rear shoulders fo the receiver in 'Battery' (closed) position.

The Breech blocks were made form 4140cr Alloy Steel via CNC Machining. Sadly the Maker has sworn he will not be making more as he lost money on the First Batches.
