I have a Stevens model 66-B in 22LR and my son wants to put a scope on it. I have not checked with anyone yet but the bolt travels up to the top of the receiver and looks like it would not allow a scope.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

That's an oldie. You're looking at a side mount most likely,maybe a D&T job to install it. You might just be better off to find a newer rifle with the dovetail type mount. Goatwhiskers the Elder
