I have had the same problem in a .30 Carbine and a .32-20 Blackhwak.
My problem was the chambers were left rough at the factory.
With maximum loads you could see annular rings on the cases.
The .32-20 is a convertable. .32 H&R Mag. loads that stick in the Blackhawk do not stick in my S&W M-16. None are over published maximum.
There is or was a Tech tip on this board that discussed polishing chambers in Blackhawks. It helps.
