Nope, .I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on
killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile
certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little
kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are
members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal
hips, and Medal of Honor winning former Governors.

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and
other dunder headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart
common sense feel doubly ashamed of themselves. As the writer of the award
winning story Forest Gump so aptly put it, "Stupid is as stupid does!"

You said a mouthful and all of it true.
The really sad thing is that a whole lot of people will dismiss you (and me) as a rascist.
Political correctness is soooo much more important than National Security.

Guess you had better add me to the racist list. Got this same thing awhile back and posted it at the gun shop where I work. It has drawn a lot of comments.

count me in as a rascist too, i was supposed to have been in Beirut in '83 as well. only by GOD'S intervention was i not there! i knew many young marines who died there.

on a lighter note all this political correctedness mess makes me sick. my nick name is halfbreed for a reason, but i am still all american through and through, it's too dogged bad our political leaders are'nt also.

not until some of these leaders start losing loved ones to the muslim radicals will they get off their butts and do something for america for a change.

sorry for the rant, some topics just push my buttons a little too close.

Political correctness is a relatively new thing in America, and in the world for that matter. I have a feeling that it is one of those pendulums that will swing back and forth.

The more basic and important issue is LIBERTY at the expense of SECURITY, and SECURITY at the expense of LIBERTY. This is not really about Muslims at its core. Our system is being tested by Muslim extremists, but there will always be some identifiable extremist group to test us.

Jefferson recognized that liberty and security are incompatible concepts in a democracy. The issue is really the amount of liberty we must give up to preserve an adequate level of security. During dangerous times we give up more. During good times, we give up less.

Jefferson said of the choice between liberty and security: "Those that choose security will have neither".

The trick is never to give up too much liberty.
