Hi All-
What take off barrels will work as large ring mauser replacements?
Example is Ruger 77 barrel should work, what others could work?

There is the P14/M 1917 Enfield and nothing, for the most part the large shank Mauser barrel is .100 larger than other barrel shanks, There is a Parker Hale barrel that is larger in diameter than the Enfield, finding one is not easy, when found most are (too?) short.

I had a 22-250 barrel from a Ruger No.1 rethreaded and installed on a 98 Mauser action once. It shot like crazy !!! Should have kept that one !!!! HD1
