Hey guys. I was getting into long range shooting with mil dots and such. i was wondering if there were any good books to teach you how to shoot with mil dots and calculating wind and using your scope and everything. I cant expect everyone to teach me how to use everything in forums. so if you guys have any suggestions that would be great .. thanks

John Plasters book, Ultimate Sniper has a lot of basic information about long range shooting. That is the only one I have personal experience with.

Here’s an older Marine Corps manual and a newer Army manual. Both cover the use of mil-dots. Just remember that their windage numbers are for specific .308 rounds. Different cartridges or bullets will require different numbers.
