I would like to use some 250gr.LBT bullets in my Taurus Model 415 snubnose revolver, but I don't know how heavy I can load these. This is a total stainless steel revolver. Any suggestions for loads that would safely obtain the highest velocities? Thanks, Bill

Bill,

Welcome to the Beartooth Board. I hope you enjoy your visits and find them helpful.

Your Taurus should be able to handle any standard .41 loads without much problem. For high velocity 250's I'd go with 19-20 grains of H-110 or Winchester 296. As is always the case, you should reduce these values by 3% and slowly work-up to no more than 20.0 grains.
